  • Edit 4-6 articles per week for print and digital IEEE publications, journals, and magazines.
  • After editing for IEEE’s The Institute for six months, I was asked by the Editor-in-Chief personally to start editing some of the longer feature articles for IEEE Spectrum, the world’s leading engineering magazine.
  • After one year, IEEE asked to renew my contract at a higher rate for the following year.

  • Built a content and editorial team from the ground up.
    • Managed all hiring, training, feedback, and management of freelance and internal editorial team members, including a paid test I created.
  • Created the entire content and editorial process, including writing SOPs and a style guide, designing Monday.com boards for task and project management, assigning and reviewing work, and training writers and editors.
    • Reviewed writing and research and provided individualized feedback and training to researchers.
    • Pivoted the editorial team’s work after the March 2024 Google content update to refine goals, do additional research, and create more long-form, deeply researched content.
